Insurance Companies Insurance companies act as a primary source of permanent financing for American real estate projects. Because of the long-term nature of liabilities on their balance sheets, long-term assets are preferred. A diverse set of these institutions relies on Cronheim to locate these long-term assets.
CMBS Financing The capital markets are becoming increasingly more aggressive and competitive for many product types. We are at the forefront of this dynamic environment; leveraging our market knowledge and credibility to provide the same services to investment banks as we do for our life insurance company correspondents. As we assume the underwriting role that investment banks are currently taking, costs for the Borrower on an investment bank loan are the same as those for insurance company loans. Cronheim's in-house underwriting and due diligence staff provides the same quality of service for CMBS bound mortgages as portfolio debt. In addition, the firm provides low-cost financing on a direct basis through Mortgage Loan Purchase Agreements.
